We do provide music for those who want it, but you are not required to audition or read music. All are welcome. We do a fun variety of World music, pop classics, and whatever else we feel like. We do one performance per session, and ask our audience to sing along too. We are a welcoming and warm and eclectic group.  

In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'World CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. AlSo winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'World CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. AlSo winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
