Its repertoire consists of Negro spirituals and African Songs, as well as interesting part interpretations of pop and soul Songs. The Choir often performs at social events and Zagreb City events for tourists, and also regularly participates in domestic, national and international choral events, festivals and competitions.

This is arranged by our Lovely talented choir member Margaret Smith. Choirs involved from Hummingsong Community Choirs are Karinya, Maribella & Senisuara based in sydney's Northern Beaches and North Shore. 110 women joined together for an event we will all never forget. Nevenka's repertoire includes Songs from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Russia, Greece, and Georgia, as well as Ladino Sephardic and Rom (Gypsy) Songs. The group was formed in 1976 by women who shared a common interest in the complex harmonies and compelling rhythms typical in Balkan music. Very much in the Eastern European tradition, Nevenka includes women of all ages making music together.

It is made up of James Rose (Founder), Sam Robson, Emily Dankworth, Ben Cox, Martynas Vilpisauskas and Lewis Daniel, all young and talented musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. Performing live on stage around London with guest singers such as Jacqui Dankworth, VIVE brings rich, diverse harmonies with a fresh, contemporary sound, taking inspiration from the legendary Take 6 and the Real Group!
