This displays the recipe forming the basis of an evening with the str8voices from Hanover. Immense a cappella- energy out of 8 young throats, interpreting songs such as “run run run” by the Real Group in a quite own and individual way. Winner of the first prize in Warsaw International Choir Festival 2007. Our repertoire contains International Music, but especially Arabic songs from different heritages (Lebanese, Palestinian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Syrian, Mouashah...). And for the first time, we have Arabic songs arranged with quarter tones. Our aim is to show the real civilized image of the Arab world and to spread our rich Music.

HomeChoir is a new way of learning Music. You don’t need to be an accomplished singer to take part. HomeChoir members watch and sing along with Ben - teaching is one-way so nobody can hear us but the neighbours! - and are also invited to take part in the live text chat with Ben and with fellow singers around the world. There is a vibrant and friendly social community among the Choir. If you can’t join in live, then you can still enjoy the Music-making at any time. All our sessions remain available on YouTube after the live streams end for watching on catch-up when you can, and as often as you like.
