For over 12 years, Quinta.5 has been redefining the limits of the human voice, in a show that captivates the crowd over and over again. Their vocal blend, together with their original arrangements create a unique Israeli sound that can be distinguished in every performance, providing a rich musical experience for the Israeli audience. Since the group was formed in 2006 by its founder Doron Ben-Ami, Quinta.5 has achieved great recognition both in Israel and throughout the world, and today is at the forefront of the contemporary a cappella scene in Israel. In 2012 they performed in the Israeli Music Awards (Acum) for the first time, and since then their performance has become one of the recurring acts every year. Full text: "show me eyes like scars to soothe and seethe the thoughts thrice far and smoothly breathe calm vision light - ajar and free, this vision gift that's deep as dust, and hard as feather leaves; sweet nectar light of lust and color brilliance; this stroke of sight's delivery."​​ ​ Program notes: As I was searching for text for a new composition in 2019, I stumbled upon a long-time friend’s poetry book and devoured it. Emanual Wolff’s MooNlight HoWling spoke to me in its dark corners, surrealist takes on reality and visceral accounts of battles with mental illness and the struggle of existence therein. Toetsenist Leo Gerritse maakt onze begeleidingen, assisteert bij de repetities en speelt met ons mee tijdens optredens. Elke maandagavond repeteren wij in het dorpshuis in Spijk. Van 20.00-22.00 uur oefenen we nieuwe nummers, herhalen we oudere nummers en werken we aan onze uitstraling en beweging.  less

Under the Leadership of Founder and Choirmaster Ron Oñate, they brought home 2 silver diplomas for the Folk and Sacred Music Categories from the said competition, establishing their mark on the international choir scene. Chamz, as they are popularly known, has continually rendered their voices for various Television shows, Music Festivals, Product endorsements, corporate events, charity concerts and outreach activities.
