Liszt chooses female choir for the last part of the Magnificat not accidental. Carol of the Virgin Mary by female voices could not be better convey the feeling of bliss in the mountain heights of heaven - that every soul is seeking for. We are a mixed voice choir of approximately 40 voices. All are welcome, and we would especially welcome new members in the lower voices.

Our director is Linda Corcoran who also directs the current UK Champions ‘ The Great Western Chorus of Bristol’. We are actively recruiting new members and have ambitions for national and international performance. Almost all of our members are also in other choirs and 'the Feds' rehearse together only once per month on average, so it is possible to stay with your current choir and with us.

Mandskoret of 1914 are a group of adult, personable men who like to sing, from the experienced to the new singers. Mandskoret av 1914 Mandskoret er en usedvanlig sprek 100 åring, og er Haugesund eldste mannskor. I Mandskoret av 1914 er vi en gjeng med voksne, omgjengelige menn som liker å synge – fra de rutinerte, til helt nye sangere. 
 Mannskor mer enn bare sang Det handler om opplevelser knyttet til deltakelse, måten vi tar vare på hverandre og den spesielle sosiale aktiviteten. Mannskor favner mer om kvaliteten i musikkaktiviteten, enn kanskje den musikalske kvaliteten. Mannskor er også en viktig bærer av solide tradisjoner i vårt samfunn. Korsang er videreføring av tradisjon. Korsang er en verdifull aktivitet som fremmer livskvalitet. Mannskorsangen er en meningsfull aktivitet som gir helsemessige gevinst.
