The...  moreThe Love2sing Choir Ealing (Hanwell) was founded in 2010 by Hanwell resident Elizabeth Lusty. A true community venture, Love2sing opens its doors to adults of all ages and abilities who just Love2sing. The Choir began, at Hanwell Community Centre W7. The first class had only 11 brave singers but over the years numbers have steadily grown. In 2015 the Choir was asked to take part in the prestigious Ealing Music and Film Festival performing to a sold out auditorium. Come and sing with us at a Love2sing Choir near you! All levels and abilities are welcome with No Audition. Choirs meet in Hanwell, Ealing and Ickenham. Take part in fun, friendly and informative weekly rehearsals plus twice yearly concerts and socials. You will make new friends, get involved in your local community, learn and Love2sing. In 1968, the Choir was awarded the status of a National Choir. Over the years, the Choir has been led by many talented conductors, e.g. Centis Kriķis, Kārlis Beinerts, Edvīns and Inga Dziļums, Ints Teterovskis, etc. Today the conductors of the Choir are Evita Taranda and Zane Zilberte; Choir master is Roberts Hansons. The repertoire of the Choir varies, as performances include all sorts of music from the time of renaissance to modern music or music written by contemporary artists, e.g. Paul McCartney's oratorio "Ecce Cor Meum" or Czech composer Petr Eben's music "De Circuito Aeterno". The Choir has performed in many countries and it has received many awards and international recognition in international competitions.
