Since incorporation, NGGC now operates under two mandate objectives: to develop The professional and musical skills of young adults 20-30 years of age; and to bring gospel music as a respected genre of music, along with its more evolved counterparts (Jazz and Classical music), in Canada.
Gospel Music has served vitally in The development of all members who have joined NGGC. Our unique incorporation, interpretation, and delivery of this embodied form of art, has garnered multiple forms of support — like spectators; organizations; donors; and sponsors alike — granting us The ability to develop both The musical and professional skills of our members in tandem. less

Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gaThers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear.
