Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur singers, our repertoire ranges from the great classical choral works to modern contemporary pieces. Under the skilled direction of Howard Kane, who was appointed musical director in 2008, and ably assisted by Robert Woods the choir has grown in size and reputation. Rehearsals Monday nights are rehearsal nights which are held in Frodsham Methodist Church, Kingsley Rd, WA6 6BA from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome to come along and give us a try. We rehearse from September through to July for our four main concerts, which are held in Frodsham, and also take our music to other venues in the area. Groups of singers from within the choir are available to sing at weddings and the choir regularly puts on events to raise money for local charities.  less

We all love, we all hate, We all hope, and we all dream. We are one world, one people. And we all breathe the same. A tribe of many languages, A group of many heartaches, Fighting for peace among the land. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, we are one. We all want, we all need, We all seek passion, we all seek joy. We all bruise, we all scar, we all fail, but learn to thrive. We are one world, one people. And we all breathe the same. In the darkness of the night and in the glory of the morning We walk along the path and find our way. Now we stand here together and lift our hearts in song To the rythm of this moment in our lives: We are one. Festival Coros de Verao, 2019 Monasterio de los  less

We strive to create a musically inspiring, spiritually stirring experience for our patrons. From historically informed performance of early music to meticulously prepared classical works to the most exciting current sacred compositions, Te Deum presents beautiful music in stunning settings. Te Deum was founded by Matthew Christopher Shepard in 2008 to fulfill an expressed need by both singers and audiences in the Kansas City area to present sacred choral music concerts of the highest quality. The Te Deum Chamber Choir performed its first concert in spring 2009. Since then, the chamber choir has built an impressive and varied repertoire that spans centuries of time and wide ranges of composition style. In fall 2013, Te Deum began its Antiqua series, offering historically informed performances of repertoire from the 12th-17th centuries with a smaller roster. In addition to ...    less
