The female choir ex-semble was founded in the year 1994 by its conductor Christoph Haßler. It started as an experiment in a small ensemble. Most of ex-semble's members come from the Süwestpfälzer Kinderchor. Starting in the children's choir with voice training and also personal formation, ex-semble works mainly with a-cappella literature of all epoches. From the beginning on, ex-semble has regularly given concerts in Germany as well as in foreign countries.

The choir was founded in 1838 by Fredrik Pacius and... moreThe Academic Male Voice Choir of Helsinki – Akademiska Sångföreningen or Akademen in Swedish – is a Fennoswedish (i.e. Swedish-speaking) male voice student choir based in the Finnish capital of Helsinki. The choir was founded in 1838 by Fredrik Pacius and is the oldest extant choir in Finland. At present, Akademen has around 60 active Singers, most of whom are University students. However, quite a few choose to stay in the active choir long after graduation, which makes for a healthy mix of youth and experience. We give concerts regularly in Finland, and travel abroad as frequently as possible. In addition to all the Scandinavian and most European countries, Akademen has been on tour in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore. We believe that ambitious musical development can go hand-in-hand with tradition, and work enthusiastically to keep alive the dialogue between past and present. less

After the last premiere of the You Raise Me Up recording, the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology worked intensively on the next choral song. This time we went a step further – we created a truly virtual choir in the virtual cathedral. The recording was made in 360° technology, which means that we can listen and watch both sound and image in the full sphere. To capture the full effect, it's best to listen to this presentation in headphones on your smartphone. You can then feel like inside the old temple surrounded by sound from everywhere. less
