Our mission is to provide a world-acclaimed music and performing arts curriculum that educates, motivates, and builds character in boys through unparalleled opportunities for performance, leadership, travel, and community service. We have performed to standing ovations all over the world, including Russia, Romania, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and the eight largest cities in Japan. The Chorus's most recent overseas tour in 2013, saw them performing throughout Australia and New Zealand. The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present. The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and other repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, interNational songs, holiday music and modern favorites. We perform at annual shows, community events and competitions, and several members are also in quartets. TuneTown Show Chorus puts a contemporary spin on traditional barbershop singing and has won four Sweet Adelines regional Chorus competitions to go on to represent a multi-state region in interNational contests.

The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
