The Ensemble is celebrated both nationally and internationally for excellent musical interpretations originating in its quest for the deepest sources of inspiration: from lyrics, through harmony, texture and form, to individual feelings of the conductor and choristers. The choir was established in 2005 by Bartosz Michałowski, a long-time assistant to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, founder of the famous "Poznan Nightingales" Boys´ and Men´s Choir of the Poznan Philharmonic. Conducting experience acquired during numerous concerts with the Poznan Philharmonic and Sinfonia Varsovia orchestras played a crucial role in the establishment of the young artist's own Ensemble, which soon found recognition among organizers of prominent competitions and festivals. In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest possible level, we compete each year in a national contest and we also perform our own annual Show to raise our profile in the community. Born by a group of singers, together with his conductor, Gianluigi Giacomoni, wanted to perform new kind of music in the city's musical scene with a wide repertoire ranging from the elaboration of popular melodies to hits of pop music and soundtracks. The choir Vox Canora sung with the Orchestra of the "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", with M° Ennio Morricone for his concert in Parma, with M° Helmut Imig for the soundtrack of the film "Fratello Sole" by Luigi Mancinelli. From 2008 choral Ensemble Vox canora is directed by M° Monica Lodesani whose first engagement has been the preparation of the Gloria di Vivaldi, in collaboration with other choruses of the city.
