The choristers looked at the formation of the choir as further development to their shared roots from singing with the Limburg Cathedral Boys choir. The repertoire includes a range of the following: Gregorian chants, works of old masters, romantic motets, contemporary compositions, arrangements of jazz and pop songs. The intensive study of new choral music results in numerous compositions that have been written for Camerata Musica Limburg, by composers such as Robert Sund, Kurt Bikkembergs, Walt...    less

These singers also perform as soloists. The group would like to promote their vast repertoire of singing ‘a cappella’ (without instruments) pieces from 16th to 21st century and their different styles. As well as being accompanied by orchestral ensembles, the choir often work with notable composers (Lucian Tuguy, Thibault Maillé, Jean-Christophe Marti…) who help to create the musical pieces. Ranging from traditional concerts to original and artistic experiences, the choir is always seeking to give value to all of the creative initiatives. In 2006, the choir collaborated with dancers from the Paris Opera House for the ballet of Stéphane Elizabé, “De l'Autre côté à l'amphithéâtre Bastille” (From the other side of the Bastille Amphitheatre).
