The Ensemble is composed of musicians from throughout the Province of the Eastern Cape, namely Sanelisiwe Siqwepu (soprano) from Lusikisiki, Andile Tokwe (tenor) from East London, Akhona Witbooi (bass) from Komga. The trio is under the tutelage of Sinethemba Sonanze (music diector) from Alexandria.  

Comprised of more than 20 experienced Singers. All have a wealth of vocal experience. Many have sung in barbershop choruses and quartets. Others have strong choral backgrounds.

World premiere (exerpt). This song for mixed choir a cappella is a declaration of love. It can be sung to either a woman or a man. It can be performed in 2 languages versions: in English/French or in English/English. Performance time: 4’45.

Since then, we've been growing in quality, number of Singers, range of repertory, and we've won two national awards in Spain in choir contests. We like to touch the audience with our style. Membership is open to anyone with or without choral experience. We aim for high standards, and of course strong Singers are always valued – but you don’t have to be able to read music, and there are no auditions. The age range of members stem from 20 to over 70 so there is room for everyone. If you’re not sure which voice part you are then Christopher Wray, our Musical Director, can help you with this. The Choir performs three public concerts each year, at Easter, in the Summer and at Christmas. We also support the local communities by singing at various events and this includes raising funds for charities. Each year we also sing away from London which combines singing to another community, or combining a performance with their choir, with a fun day out. The voices of young Singers are celebrated and nurtured through a musicianship and vocal training program that includes reading and writing rhythms, interval recognition, diction, tone and vowel formation in a positive and fun choral setting. Serving ages 5–14, the program fosters the pride of accomplishment and joy of participation, producing the next generation of musicians, Singers, and music lovers in the community.  less

They soon found a community of Singers who are equally passionate about the energy and intimacy of chamber choral music performed at a high caliber.
