Aged between 7 and 11 they sing all kinds of MUSIC in a fun and supportive environment and perform regularly at Salford MUSIC and Performing arts centre (MAPAS) concerts as well as joining with other choirs from the area to perform at large scale venues such as the BBC and the Lowry Thursday 5.30-6.30pm term time only 0161 778 0256  

The FGC "Golden Girls are proud of being the founder members of this young up and coming Girls Choir in the Western Cape. FGC is a HIGH School choir that is comprised of girls between the ages of 13 and 18.

It's a lot of fun! We welcome all levels of singers ages 12 thru senior in HIGH school and there is no audition required. We are part of the School of Rock program and this is a paid program. Horlick HIGH School, Gilmore Middle School, McKinley Middle School, Olympia Brown Elementary, Gifford Elementary, Winslow Elementary, Wadewitz Elementary and AppleChor from Red Apple Elementary combined to sing it as the Finale to the festival. There were about 280 children involved. The choral programme starts with a general education for ages 5-7, before they are ready for Junior Choir (7-10), Intermediate Choir (10-13), Stage Choir or Youth Choir (13-18). Youth Choir contains over 80 singers, and the total number of singers meeting each week at the academy is over 180. The junior choirs are directed by Mrs Kate Venvell, Stage Choir is directed by Richard Halton and Julie Gossage, and Youth Choir is directed by Tim Venvell.  less
