We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our Choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and Choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it. The Choir’s performance is sometimes a cappella, whi...  moreThe Oakland City University Choir is a non-audition student group that performs a number of styles at campus events throughout the year – including Christmas concerts, commencement ceremonies, and more. The Choir’s performance is sometimes a cappella, while at other times accompanied by a jazz trio or piano. Sectional rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (11 to 11:50AM).  

The Voice Community Choir is based in Barnstaple, North Devon. We sing a cappella music, old and new and songs from around the world. The emphasis is on enjoyment of singing - and is open to ALL.
