Its members are young artists who regularly perform with other significant early music Ensembles at home and abroad. They are the participants of several radio, television, and CD recordings. No one has to sing by themselves and there is no audition to join. We sing a mixture of traditional and pop songs – something for everyone, and everyone is welcome. The cost is £2 per week and there is no membership fee. Drinks and biscuits are provided.

Their stylish performances, featuring early Medieval plainchant right through to commissions of West Australian composers, have been delighting audiences and critics alike since 1995. The Consort prides itself on unearthing lesser-known early music (such as music of De Brossard, Certon, and Clereau), showcasing larger-scale choral masterpieces (Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers, various Bach Cantatas), and presenting high-quality interpretations of well-known classics (Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Durufle's Requiem, Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia, Allegri's Miserere and Tavener's Song for Athene).
