Our purpose is to sing for enjoyment & to share this with the community. We are a non-audition Choir, all we ask of those wishing to join us is that they can sing in tune.  

CoMA Voices is based in London. We meet for specific performance projects and workshops. We are open to all singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of ...  moreCoMA Voices is based in London. We meet for specific performance projects and workshops. We are open to all singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of which is unconventionally notated. Most of our work is a capella and the focus is on ensemble singing. One objective is to expand the contemporary amateur vocal repertoire, which is less developed than the instrumental repertoire. We work with composers and students, commissioning works and showcasing material for use by others.  less

We welcome visiting Choirs and enjoy joining with other youth Choirs in concerts. We have a training Choir for younger singers, and a Choir for boys whose voices have changed.

Somerville Choir is curr...  morethe Choir of Somerville College Oxford, in its present form, was founded by Francis Knights and Sam Bayliss in 2001. the Choir sings evensong every Sunday during term and performs in concerts organised by Somerville Music Society. Somerville Choir is currently being conducted by David Crown. He is assisted by the two organ scholars, Douglas Knight and Robert Pecksmith (http://www.robert-smith.org.uk ), and Choir manager Stefan Schwarz. Since David Crown took over as Director of Chapel Music in 2007, the Choir has been involved in two opera productions (Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas ' and Gluck's 'Orfeo ed Euridice') as well as concerts in Oxford, Brighton, Wells, Swindon, Upton upon Severn and Steeple Aston. In recent years the Choir has also sung evensong at Southwark, Worcester, Winchester, Wells and Berlin Cathedrals.
