Rory Wilson, an experienced choral conductor from Edinburgh, has been appointed and has begun work with the Choir towards our first concert under his direction in November 2018, based around the Fire Songs of Morten Lauridsen, pairing his settings with settings of the same or similar texts by Renaissance composers.

Is not a competition but encourages the comparison between different musical cultures and far traditions. The festival includes participation in concerts and performances in theaters, churches and amphitheaters selected for the particular acoustic characteristics or to enhance the repertoires of any band. Locations such as the wonderful country of the Adriatic Coast in Opatija and Postojna Cave will be the ideal for visits and performances of the groups.  less
