A True community venture, Love2sing opens its doors to adults of all ages and abilities who just Love2sing. The choir began, at Hanwell Community Centre W7. The first class had only 11 brave singers but over the years numbers have steadily grown. In 2015 the choir was asked to take part in the prestigious Ealing Music and Film Festival performing to a sold out auditorium. Come and sing with us at a Love2sing choir near you! All levels and abilities are welcome with No Audition. Choirs meet in Hanwell, Ealing and Ickenham. Take part in fun, friendly and informative weekly rehearsals plus twice yearly concerts and socials. You will make new friends, get involved in your local community, learn and Love2sing. Paraire had fallen in Love with Kuini but her family refused to give their blessing to a marriage between the two. A Lovelorn Paraire composed Pokarekare Ana in which he vowed his eternal Love. He declared this passion by singing Pokarekare Ana at Te Poho-o-Rawiri Marae to Kuini in front of her Ngati Porou elders. The family was won over by his convincing performance and granted him their daughter's hand. How placid are the ripples of restless Waiapu, Dear they know of your returning, from far across the sea. Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a True community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s musical voice. We’ll be there a few times a year with concerts, we’ll be singing at community events, for Christmas caroling, at nursing homes & rehab centers, and more.  less
