inclusive is the word which probably best describes Open Arts Community Choir. It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of the community in Northern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by their love of singing.

Founder of the choir was Mefodijs Skuja but the greatest achievments DZinTARS succeeded with perennial conductor Ausma Derkēvica.
Since 2000 the conductor and Artistic Director is Aira Birziņa, chief conductor of The Nationwide Song Festival in Latvia, Professor of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, organizator of innumerable cultural projects and author of the concepts of many projects for avocational choirs.

Toujours à la recherche de répertoires originaux, l’ensemble interprète soit des œuvres écrites initialement pour ensemble vocal féminin, soit des adaptations pour ce type de formation.
Depuis sa création, Para L’Elles s’est déjà produit plusieurs fois en Ile-de-France (Paris et banlieue) et dans le Périgord, individuellement et lors de rencontres musicales, soit a cappella soit accompagné au piano ou par un ensemble instrumental.
L’ensemble est actuellement constitué de sept chanteuses amateurs confirmées, venues d’univers professionnels très différents mais que la passion du chant réunit. Elles peuvent être tour à tour soliste au sein de l’ensemble.
