Founded in 2008, BF has been entertaining Abu Dhabi audiences ever since! Our multicultural members have musical skills ranging from professional to semi professional levels. We learn our parts with precision, thus allowing us to put aside our sheet music and really enjoy the magic of hearing all the harmonies merged for a fine tuned a Cappella sound! A Cappella is a vocal tradition as old as music itself, has held a prominent place in many musical genres. Blue Fever focuses on jazz and contemporary pop. Derived from the Italian phrase "in the manner of the chapel," a Cappella refers to vocal music performed without any instrumental accompaniment. Hold on, give me a second... I need to relax after this one. This was crazy difficult. Not only was it just difficult note-wise, but the rhythms were ridiculous too. It was loads of fun though! I started working on this in June. I did take July and August off while I was away for the summer, but all in all this is the product of a little less than 4 months of work.
