This Work is suitable for a soloist or unison choir. the accompaniment is originally scored for piano, but we have rendered it with organ accompaniment. In a liturgical setting, this Work is especially suitable for Baptisms and other services that feature the use of sanctified water (healing and commemorative services). Equally, it would make a reflective motet for use during the distribution of Holy Communion. Many thanks to the Swell Vox crew in this video for beautifully performing the piece: Tony Lee, Caleb Smith, Andrew Flores, James Flores (organ). An artist who stops creating ceases to be an artist. Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology, the oldest artistic student organization at the Gdańsk University of Technology, despite current situation, has not ceased its activity. We organise ourselves, Work and create. This is the first "product" of our virtual Work. We did it for yourselves to give you a little respite, joy, smile, hope and faith in a better future. Thanks to the fact that we have a share in culture - as creators and recipients - it is easier to live, it is easier to face everyday challenges. Music has great power. Music reaches our senses. We become better people thanks to music. -- Conductor, Mariusz Mróz the accompaniment to the song was played on a digital piano by Ewa Mróz, while the part of the oboe was performed by Karolina Kacprzycka.  is).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

In the 1970s I visited Poland twice and fell in love with Polish choral music -- and Lulajże Jezuniu became one of my favourite Christmas carols in any language. While flying from Ottawa to Vancouver in December 2017, I felt inspired and arranged most of this piece while at 30,000 feet! I must have been quite a sight conducting away in my aisle seat, with my head phones plugged into my computer. I have dedicated Lulajże Jezuniu to the late Adam and Helena Kmiotek, who showed me such generosity of spirit as my hosts in Szczecin during my second Polish trip.
