However it does not exempt the work of works accompanied by instrumental ensemble, piano, etc....  more-eng- A CAPPELLA ENSEMBLE is an amateur vocal group that was born in February, 2015, with the goal to present itself at concerts, with choral works a cappella. However it does not exempt the work of works accompanied by instrumental ensemble, piano, etc. This group's training base is four singers, two of them music professionals, malleable according to the repertoire, joining more singers if so required. Being a recent ensemble, it premiered in the March 2015 concert with the Lenten Concert (Solidarity Concert in favor of Maria Lara) in the Chapel of Covão do Coelho and the Church of Minde, with works by T.L de Victoria, A. Caldara, A. Scarlatti, J.S. Bach, G. Their sound combines rock, acapella, electronic, ambient and chant influences. Paradisum was created by Richard Childress, a Chicago-born professional singer, arranger and manager who brought together five talented and versatile young singers to record a few demo tracks. This attracted some attention from a veteran A & R professional, resulting in Paradisum being invited to perform in a private showcase in London before execs from Universal and Sony/BMG Records. The band is now in a new exciting collaboration with the brilliant tv and film composer Philip Sheppard. New covers and original sings will be out on Soundcloud and iTunes early in 2012.  less

Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a true community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s musical voice. We’ll be there a few times a year with concerts, we’ll be singing at community events, for Christmas caroling, at nursing homes & rehab centers, and more.  less

To help celebrate this important milestone, Nashville Singers hosted a special "meet & greet" event honoring the Suntones in Nashville on May 12, 2011. The concert closed with a performance by The Suntones and the Nashville Singers singing Gene Cokeroft's stirring arrangement of Danny Boy, with solos by Gene and son Bruce.
