We aim to be the most ent...  moreAlthough we only became the City of Truro Male Choir in 2003, we can trace our singing forefathers back to two local village choirs formed in the 1940s. These were Chacewater & District Male Choir and Carnon Vale Male Choir. We aim to be the most entertaining male voice choir in the South West and for the City of Truro to be proud of us. The ethos of the choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away. We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year  less

The soloists are Anne McCambridge and Margaret Mann. Inclusive is the word which probably best describes Open Arts Community Choir. It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of the community in Northern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by their love of singing. This superb venue has a naturally occurring 5 second reverb, this recording was not enhanced in any way and was taken straight from a JVC HD Camera mixing in Final Cut Pro.

"Esperança" pretende combater os receios mais pessimistas dos tempos que correm. É um projeto arrojado, irreverente, e ousado que pretende representar o sentimento generalizado dos portugueses. Os coralistas são literalmente presos à corda (ou salvos pelas molas), perderam o rosto e o lugar. Cantam numa situação desconfortável com variados obstáculos. Só a música consegue furar essas barreiras revelando a esperança em todo o seu esplendor.  less

In new season the choir continues to make up steps towards new artistic activities. The main activities of the choir are finding the new ways to music, its expresion and presenting new ideas, cooperation with composers and many professional musicians. Now, the choir Mūza is making a new image and wants to show multiplicity of the choir music. In its programs the choir performes modern music and a big part is left of Latvian classical music as well as traditional Latvian folk-music. The choir Mūza was established in 1947. Its founder and leader through out many years has been maestro Leonids Vigners (1906-2001). In 1999 the choir transferred into new direction and it became a youth choir. From 2006 the artistic director and the main conductor is Guntis Cimiņš.  less
