Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί της εκπαιδεύονται, αφενός στην ανάγνωση και ερμηνεία μουσικών έργων και αφετέρου στην φωνητική διαπαιδαγώγηση. Στόχος της Χορωδίας του ΣΦΜΘ είναι η πραγματοποίηση συναυλιών, τόσο σε συνεργασία με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής, όσο και με άλλους πολιτιστικούς φορείς στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (σε εκδηλώσεις όπως κοντσέρτα, όπερα, χορωδιακά φεστιβάλ). Για την επίτευξη των καλλιτεχνικών στόχων της Παιδικής Xορωδίας συνεργάζονται παιδαγωγός φωνής και πιανίστα, δίδοντας στους μαθητές-χορωδούς πολύτιμες συμβουλές για την καλλιτεχνική τους πρόοδο. Στο μικρό χρονικό διάστημα η Παιδική Xορωδία του ΣΦΜΘ έχει αναπτύξει το ρεπερτόριο της από την παλαιά μουσική (Carissimi, Handel, Mozart, Haydn κ.ά.) μέχρι τον 20ο αιώνα, ερμηνεύοντας έργα Θεσσαλονικέων συνθετών, όπως των Βασίλη Θεο...    less

Each 3 weeks we learn a new song together and perform 4-5 times per year. Texts are available in Hebrew and in Phonetics, we translate and learn to pronounce and sing together, and have an archive of all the songs and the various harmonies recorded separately to make it easier to learn and join. It's a lot of fun. Hebrew Groove is a young, contemporary, Hebrew vocal group based in Amsterdam. The repertoire consists of Hebrew pop songs from all periods, retouched with the groovy piano and close harmony vocal arrangements of conductor Noam Vazana. Hebrew Groove has performed at: Amsterdam MuseumNacht, Paradiso Choir Festival, Salaam-Shalom solidarity event for Charlie Hebdo, Namen en Nummers, Koor en More Festival and more.  less

We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our D...  moreBased in south-west London, All Saints Fulham Choir are a friendly, talented and experienced group of young volunteer singers in our 20s and 30s. In addition we have a choral scholarship programme for Music students. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our Director of Music and Assistant Organist, Emma Howarth. We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both the 9:30am Sung Eucharist and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm. We always welcome new members. Musically educated in the classical tradition, he began teaching at 12 and writing at age 16. He reached the rank of Master of the Royal Chapel (most important post for a Musician in Brazil Cologne) appointed by King John IV and conducted the first performances of Mozart’s "Requiem" and Haydn’s "Creation" in Brazil. Poor, mulatto, losing his father early and being educated with great difficulty, it is not known exactly how managed to get the culture that claim to have belonged to him. Even with all this prestige, he did not escape the prejudice by the origin in a family of slaves.  less
