Our aspiration is to take township choral Singing to higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy Singing and get compensated for engaging in the choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.

Stay, stay until the hasting day Has run but to the evensong, And, having pray'd together, we Will go with you along. We have short time to stay, as you, We have as short a spring; As quick a growth to meet decay, As you, or anything. We die, as your hours do, and dry away, Like to the summer's rain, Or as the pearls of morning's dew, Ne'er to be found again.  less

In May, 2013, composer Ola Gjeilo spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus, joining the choir in recording 4 of his pieces. This performance is from that session. The final piece, "Ubi Caritas II: Through Infinite Ages", was recorded both in an unaccompanied rendition (how it is written and published) and in a version with Mr. Gjeilo improvising an accompaniment to the choir. This was Ola's second time on CWU's campus. His first visit was in the spring of 2011 and yielded 5 videos of his music, a wide-ranging interview with the composer and other bonus material. It resulted in a DVD entitled "In the M...    less
