This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a Choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of Singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com

Based in south-west London, All Saints Fulham Choir are a friendly, talented and experienced group of young volunteer Singers in our 20s and 30s. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our D... moreBased in south-west London, All Saints Fulham Choir are a friendly, talented and experienced group of young volunteer Singers in our 20s and 30s. In addition we have a choral scholarship programme for music students. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our Director of Music and Assistant Organist, Emma Howarth.
We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both the 9:30am Sung Eucharist and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm.
We always welcome new members. Please email dom[at]allsaints-fulham.org.uk if you’re interested. You will be invited to a short audition where Jonathan will hear you sing a short prepared piece as well as listen to your sight-reading. less

The Choir has a rich repertoire including Bulgarian music, folklore of different countries, spiritual pieces, works of 20-21 century, pop, jazz and world music. The imaginative and original musical arrangements and interpretations are specific for the Choir are they are always enjoying to great success among the public and also evaluated by specialists.
