The Revelations also has the distinction of making it to the Top 50 Male Choirs in the World as listed by the Musica Mundi World Ranking List, presented by the Interkultur Foundation, who are the organizers of the world’s largest Choral competitions. As we are enveloped in this loving tranquility, the voices of the Choir intensify until they reach a second theme, one that is more marked and determined. This sequence entitled ”The French Dream’, introduces us to a more mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere, straight out of our childhood fairy tales. Founded in 2000 by Carol Woodward Ratzlaff in response to widespread cuts to public school arts programs, 2018-19 marks VIVA!’s 19th season as a downtown family of Choirs. VIVA!’s Choirs include: the Preparatory Chorus (ages 4-6); the Junior Choir (ages 6-10); the Main Chorus (ages 9-16); the SATB Chamber Choir (senior high school, university students and adults); and the non-auditioned VIVA!
