The Chorallen Dresden are about 40 women of different age, different professions, different ... Every Wednesday there's something for our synapses: Singing jazz grooves, clapping on 2 and 4, not to mention running back and forth while singing. And let's not forget: Always smile! Biography In 2005, the women's Choir was founded by Anja Schumann, who wields the scepter of Musical art. Since then we diligently work on repertoire, refine the singing talents and laugh a lot. All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.
