As a choir, the Consort has a wide repertoire, ranging from Early Church music through to Folksongs and modern works. Each programme is different and reflects the wishes of those for whom we perform. Since the Consort’s formation it has raised, through its choral concerts, many thousands of pounds for a wide range of charities and churches. It is always glad to consider invitations from such organisations. Its services are given voluntarily, although a contribution towards its music library and other expenses is gratefully received. We would love to come and sing to you and help you raise much needed funds for your cause. In addition to singing at Fund Raising events, the Choir is available to sing at private functions, weddings, funerals and so on  One';">less

His "retirement project" - developing his own theory of gravity - has been a huge inspiration in my own compositional journey late in Life. Some background: I have sung the traditional version of Good King Wenceslas since I was a kid. I fell in love with the lyrics and the story, but have always been puzzled by the way it was arranged, in particular the way that the "las" of Wenceslas lands on the downbeat. When I was young, I thought the lyrics were actually "Good King Wences last looked out!" All to say that I got inspired to create a totally different version. I used the 19th century poem by John Mason Neale, but I wanted to create a different "feel" to the story, to take it back in time to its origins in the Middle Ages - hence the medieval feel to much of the piece. I also felt that since the Wenceslas story is all about a journey, a setting in 3/4 time would create a better sense of that feeling, ra...    One';">less

Life has cast me aside, leaving me devoid of hope. "For God's sake," you ask, but what more Can I give? My story is etched upon my brow, every desire extinguished. There's no more fight left in me. Conducted by Jad Harjane Arranged by Ismail Messari and Jad Harjane Video directed by Mohammed Ben Yekhlef at LADABATEK , Tangier Lyrics : Take my pain away Save me ! Save me Lord, Save me ! يكفاك ده البكا ...    One';">less
