No membership or previous experience is necessary, although an ability to read music would be an advantage in our sometimes fast-paced rehearsals. Just turn up and pay £10 on the door. Newcomers are always welcome at any time of the year and will enjoy their first session at the discounted price of just £5.

Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed voice Choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned Choir. We perform four concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and the occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and the surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 Voices, many of whom have sung with the Choir for several years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore new musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. The striking piece contains some jazzy chords...  moreThis composition is based on a text from Alice in Wonderland, which appeals to children and youth Choirs directly. The poem has a clear structure (verse – chorus), and the vocal parts are kept straightforward. The striking piece contains some jazzy chords and humorously unexpected twists. This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.

We are resident at St. Matthew's parish church in Chapel Allerton. We rehearsal three times a month, on a Friday evening and sing four services a month, including Evensong on the first Sunday of every month. We also often host come and sing days and various workshops, our two most recent projects have been on Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri and Mozart's Requiem.
