Every year we sing a major choral work with the London Classical Orchestra, in a Concert for the Homeless. We have also performed at Wembley Stadium and on a big Ryder Cup Europe social media campaign. The choir is for those with some experience but we also welcome singers with good voices who are new to classical music but keen to learn. There are regular solo opportunities.  less

Director, Pierre Massie, has composed many original pieces for the choir, as well as creating lively and contemporary arrangements of traditional carols. The release of their first CD Qui creavit celum, celebrated the Stairwell Carollers' 20th anniversary in 1997. In 2000 they released I Saw a Swete Semly Syght and in 2003 Mourning Dove. Their very first madrigal CD, Audite Nova, was released in October of 2006 and their fourth Xmas CD Laudemus cum armonia in 2009. 2012 marked the release of their first CD of sacred songs from the Renaissance, Cantate Domino, Their fifth Xmas CD O magnum mysterium is now available for purchase. Winner of the 2010 OMFA provincial competition, they are ranked amongst the best of Canada's choirs.
