The Platinum Consort is an eight-voice professional ensemble specialising in bringing vibrancy to the music of the sixteenth century as well as breathing life into newly commissioned works. The consort was originally founded at the University of Cambridge by Scott Inglis-Kidger, Artistic director. We also run a Boys' Choir, Chamber Choir, Period Band and Choral Workshops. The Girl Choir, led by Artistic director Wallis Peterson, has been extolled by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as “imaginative, accessible, expressive, and entertaining”, gaining a reputation for delivering compelling concert programming. The Girl Choir’s repertoire is broad, from ancient to modern, classical to popular, sacred to secular, and folk to Broadway, encompassing many cultures, faiths, and traditions. Over the past seven seasons, the Girl Choir has commissioned and premiered works by noted choral composers, including Eleanor Daley, Bob Chilcott, and David Brunner.
