The MCHS Men's Ensemble is a group of no more than 12 young men who rehearse and perform with the Memorial,Composite High School Music Department. This group of young men are known for their high energy performances of many different styles of Music.

During it’s long history the Choir won many prestigious awards at numerous competitions and festivals . The Choir’s primary goals are: preserving and nurturing local and foreign secular and spiritual choral art, expanding culture, art and Musical amateurism, engaging in various ceremonies, contests and other public performances. In achieving these goals, special attention is paid to professional and Musical developing of singers and developing civic awareness and academic life. In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. We aim to make chor...  moreLeeds Male Voice Choir is a vibrant and dynamic Choir of fifty men that performs throughout Leeds and Yorkshire. With an inclusive approach our members have different levels of singing experience and come from a variety of backgrounds. We aim to make choral singing as accessible as possible to all men. Our performances offer something for all tastes with an eclectic mix of folk, opera, pop, sacred and classical pieces. The Choir selects a diverse range of Music Music which is both familiar and new to our audiences enabling us to touch on as many different styles and genres as we can. We are always keen to hear from potential new members. You don't need to be able to read Music and many of our members have not sung in a Choir before. As long as you can sing in tune and are willing to learn, then you are half way there. A disciplined approach and an enthusiasm for a wide range of Music will also stand you in good stead.  less

AMA was formed in 2010 by a group of friends singing together for pleasure. The name - an acronym for Angela, Marilyn, and andrew - was created for the group's first concert at the end of 2011.

formed in April 2020 as a result of COVID-19, the group started to continue the passion we all share in Music.
