We sing a-cappella style music in four-part harmony, called Barbershop. The songs we sing are varied, some old classics, some modern with a twist! In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at The highest possible level, we compete each year in a national contest and we also perform our own annual Show to raise our profile in The community. We can be seen and heard throughout The year, performing for major corporations, civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers. As These things do however, The ...  moreThe New 4tet is a group of four friends, Gemma, Emma, Gary and Noel, who as very experienced choral singers decided to meet once in a while to drink wine, chat, socialise, and do a bit of singing togeTher, just for fun. As These things do however, The project has started to grow arms and legs, and we became available for The occasional bit of singing in public when we feel like it. Since Then our performances have included singing in Glasgow Art Club, and in Edinburgh for The Royal College of Physicians. Based in The west of Scotland, we have all sung togeTher in a prominent Glasgow choir, but The New 4tet gives us a chance to enjoy The much more intimate sensations of singing one to a part. All four of us have been involved in The music industry to a greater or lesser degree, and we all sing to a very high Standard and love performing.
