The atmosphere in the group is very good and that enables us to really make good and warm music together. We sing a capella as well as accompanied music. Our repertoire is a mix of renaissance and contemporary music, both classical and pop.

Emphasis is placed on deve...  moreThis show choir, under the direction of Allison Surratt, is comprised of students Ages 11-14. Students meet each week for a 60 minute class learning the fundamentals of synchronized moves and harmony while singing popular songs. Emphasis is placed on developing good fundamental vocal skills, part-singing, sight reading, choreography, stage presence and musicianship. The Charlotte Glee Club performs at Charlotte Academy of Music as well as community events.
