As Australia’s pre-eminent co-educational Children’s choir, AYC is committed to providing young singers aged seven years old to senior high school years, with vocal tuition, performance and learning experiences that encourage THE enjoyment of singing and learning music, teamwork, good communication and self-esteem. for many years THE blue and gold robes of THE Australian Youth Choir have featured at cultural events that shape our nation. THE Australian Youth Choir has a rich tradition in choral music education, educating thousands of choristers throughout Australia. Kikimasu (grades 4-6) offers a focus on thorough and excellent music education, with singers learning about healthy vocal production, THE body-voice connection, and vibrant performance presence, as well as ant emphasis on musical literacy, music THEory, and sightsinging skills. As with all our ensembles, Kikimasu provides a secure and accepting social environment where all singers feel THEir importance as members of THE group. It is well known a...  moreGOSPEL SINGERS WANTED, Audition 5th & 6th July 2021 – Black History Month Background Union Chapel is a historic church based in Islington with a small but enthusiastic congregation looking to expand our horizons. It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. In recent years, THE church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, jazz, gospel, and world music. THE church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. THEse have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in THE Covid pandemic. Besides THE usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and oTHEr special commemorations. We a...  moreShades of Harmony is a Women's A Cappella chorus based in Williamstown, NJ. We are also a member chorus of Sweet Adelines International. We enjoy sharing our love of singing in 4 part harmony with performances throughout THE souTHErn New Jersey area. We also attend and compete in THE Sweet Adelines Region 19 convention annually. We welcome women of all ages (teens to seniors) and all vocal ranges to attend a rehearsal and find out what we're all about.
