Aimed mainly at Singers in the "young professional" category, it is for people who are looking for a choir with a difference - a great social atmosphere and a challenging, varied repertoire. An auditioned choir of around 25 members, Tamesis is a high-standard choir, capable of singing 8-part repertoire on a few rehearsals and having fun while doing it! We've just recorded our second CD which will be released in Autumn 2012.

They are committed to bringing to life new and diverse choral works and have commissioned and premiered new works by local and international composers. Its 32 members are all experience musicians coming from across South Africa. They represent a wide range of professionals; from professional Singers, to high school voice teachers and choral conductors.
