Celebrating world music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and the choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Both groups enjoy performing at our own and other local community events and festivals.

Today, it is the most acclaimed vocal group in the Hungarz, renowned for quality performances. The exceptional abilities of its members enables the choir to choose from a wide selection of repertoire, indeed. Whether it’s church music that you’re after, a powerful performance of contemporary music, enjoying short outtakes from Italian films accompanied by renditions of Italian bar music from the 1500’s until nowadays, or you just can’t resist an insightful staging of the works of Hungarian composer-giants, Liszt and Bartok, needless to say, you shall always be in for a treat with the Saint Ephraim Male Choir.  less

When founding member Rick Rosen left California in mid-2003 to move back to Bucks County, the original group of west coast singers went on hiatus. In its second life, and with the blessings of the founding Californians, Cordus Mundi was reborn in early 2005 in Bucks County. Now with fifteen voices, the newest incarnation of Cordus Mundi has the flexibility and versatility to expand the group’s musical exploration into new areas - the repertoire is varied and eclectic, and the group includes two composers and several arrangers. Cordus Mundi draws its repertoire from a wide range of composers and styles, from Dunstable to Duruflé, from Byrd to Bernstein, from Palestrina to Paranjoti, from Brahms to the Beatles, and from Jacob Handl to Edie Hill. We perform at a variety of functions, often during church services. Our Easter-and Christmas programs are very popular. We also present a praise service ("Lofdiens") as church service. Our "soiree choralis" is another enjoyable event that we host. This is an ideal fundraiser for a church or other organisation.

The choir forms p...  moreAbout the Choir The University of Pretoria Youth Choir is a multi-cultural choir consisting of 90 members aged between 14 and 19 years and representing 33 Secondary Schools in the greater Tshwane area. They are all amateur singers. The choir forms part of the multi-choir model of the University of Pretoria, the others being the UP Jacaranda Children’s Choir, UP Camerata.

Belle Canto was the first choir formed in the Cantilon family and remains its only adult ensemble. In touring and recording, Belle Canto has distinguished itself as one of today’s foremost women’s ensembles. Originally a group of university students, the choir now consists of amateur singers from all walks of life. Belle Canto particularly enjoys exploring the contemporary repertoire of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and has recorded much of this repertoire on their disc, Invocation.  less
