"An Open world" is the first in a group of three settings of poems from Fletcher LaVallee Bartholomew's collection entitled "And the Wind: Gnostic Poems 1945 - 1979."

This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.
