We rehearse in Balfron Ch...  moreThe Strathendrick Singers is an amateur choir of some fifty Singers, which draws its members from the villages in the valley of the River Endrick. Members come from Balfron, Killearn, Drymen, Kippen, Aberfoyle and further afield. We rehearse in Balfron Church on Monday nights at 7.30. We are under the musical direction of Mark Evans, and perform publicly at both Christmas and Spring.

Six Degree Singers has featured in events all around the D.C.-metro area, including the Silver Spring Loy Krathong Thai Festival and the Chesapeake-Potomac Invitational Bonspiel, an annual curling event, and was recently selected to perform in the closing concert of the Kennedy Center's National Choral Festival in 2014. As a registered non-profit organization, Six Degree Singers also participates in outreach activities at various charity events and retirement communities.  less

Christoph Gerl) Das "Ensemble quartonal" wurde im Jahr 2006 von vier ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Chorknaben Uetersen gegründet. Im Mai 2010 konnte das junge Quartett beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb den 1. Preis in der erstmals ausgeschriebenen Kategorie der klassischen Ensembles gewinnen und wurde damit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt. Diese Aufnahme stammt von einem Konzert im Lübecker Dom.  

http://www.leaSingers.co.uk The Lea Singers' latest CD -- 'Jubilea' -- features almost exclusively English music (with the exception of the final item -- the 'Ave maris stella' from the Monteverdi Vespers); and the English music represented ranges from...  morehttp://www.leaSingers.co.uk The Lea Singers' latest CD -- 'Jubilea' -- features almost exclusively English music (with the exception of the final item -- the 'Ave maris stella' from the Monteverdi Vespers); and the English music represented ranges from sacred and secular favourites -- Howells' 'Like as the hart' and Sullivan's 'The long day closes' -- to works commissioned from contemporary composers (Judith Bingham's 1997 work 'Gleams of a remoter world' and a setting of the Nunc Dimittis, written in 2010 by one of the choir's own basses, John Pickard). The CD is expertly conducted by the choir's musical director, James Sherlock and guest instrumentalists are 17-year old Edward Picton-Turbevill on the organ and award-winning young cellist James Barralet playing the solo part in Sir John Tavener's 'Svyati' for cello and choir.
