The focus of our Music is located in the Baltic region. Of course! Our cherished and beloved conductor Arūnas Pečiulis is from Lithuania. In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over the world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on the CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of the Salzburg Choir Association. In 2017 we made our first big trip abroad to Lithuania and Latvia, in 2018 we were one of only two „non-Lithuanian“ Choirs to take part in the Lithuanian song festival „Dainų šventė“ in Vilnius. The group was set up to perform exciting Vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable Musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our Choir in Newcastle, but we now have Choirs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

In this time the Choir has participated in the Madrid Community Choir contest, obtaining the first prize in 2009 and 2010, and the secón prize in 2007 and 2008 Within the Choir activities, we could also mention their participation in theatre productions of the Musicals Persephone and Midas by Steve Pogson, with which they obtained the first prize in the Vademorillo theatre contest. They were also awarded first prize in the Community of Madrid theatre contest, with the Musical Super Jim, a play which was written specially for the Choir by the British authors Steve Pogson and George Simmers.
