We have a few "under-aged" adults among us, and we love it! Our purpose is to reflect the image, veracity, and immutability of our Lord Jesus Christ through music, testimony, and personal commitment to those in the senior community and beyond.  less

For a Long time, the choir existed as part of this group, performing with its dancers and orchestra, singing mostly folk music; in 1999, Valerija Skapiene, the present artistic director of the choir, began working in "Ugnele", and in a few years, the choir's repertoire extended to include not only folk, but also classical, jazz, world music; in 2002, during "Mes - Lietuvos vaikai" national choral competition, the choir was acknowledged to have reached the level of the first category (this is the highest category of artistic level in Lithuania). Journeys around the world followed - "Ugnele" has presented Lithuanian culture in fifteen countries from the Netherlands to South Korea; in 2004, the choir started a national choral festival for children, "Dainu mozaika". In 2010, the choir was invited to become a part of Vilnius J. Tallat-Kelpsa Conservatoire and continues to work...    less

We ...  moreMacquarie Singers is one of the largest community choirs in the district. Under the guise of other names, we have been in continuous existence for over 50 years and are currently conducted by the highly experienced and talented Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith. We meet on Monday nights at Trinity Chapel, Robert Menzies College from 7.00-9.30pm during school terms. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome, regardless of musical experience.  

We are an SATB choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular choir music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

Musica is an un-auditioned, community choir. We sing everything from Schubert to Gospel. We love to challenge ourselves and try new things. We come together every week because we LOVE to make music together and we love the way singing makes us feel :)

Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for the enjoyment of the members as well as to give public and private performances for the listening pleasure of othe...  moreThe Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for the enjoyment of the members as well as to give public and private performances for the listening pleasure of others”. During our musical season (September – June), the choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 – 9:30 PM at BRoadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond. In addition to our weekly practices we usually plan one or two workshops with a choral clinician, as well as evenings with guest directors. We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. We are very involved with our community and, by giving benefit concerts, help to raise funds for other organizations such as the Richmond Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Foundation and Tim Horton’s Kids Camps. As a group member of the Richmond Community Arts Council, the Richmond Singers has established a legacy that attests to a vested interest in the arts in Richmond...    less

Everything is taught by ear and the focus is on having fun and enjoying singing together, rather than achieving perfection. We try to perform a few times a year in the local area at community events.  

We are a lively and fun-loving chorus who sing a Cappella four part close harmony. Based in Winchester, the chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across Southern Hampshire. Based in Winchester, the chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across Southern Hampshire. We continue to meet regularly via Zoom while we're unable to gather face to face. The chorus has competed locally, nationally and on occasion internationally, as well as entertaining local audiences at public and private events.
