Singers are therefore welcome to apply at any point, since the group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Repertoire is wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. the group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral singers of all ages.  

We are an unusual choir singing Afro Cuban Songs accompanied by traditional Afro Cuban Percussion. We come from all over the globe, we are aged between 17 and 67, and share the fact that we all live in London and love this traditon

In addition we are frequently asked to sing at local events, weddings and celebrations. the Society was started in 1960, under our founder Gerald Brown, and we are still going strong. We are now led by James Gallagher, who has been working with us since 2009. We invite local young soloists and professionals to perform with us. Our repertoire ranges from 16th Century works to those of living composers and covers both major serious and popular works.
