She has more hair than she needs; In the sun 'tis a woe to me! And her voice is a string of colored beads, Or steps leading into the sea. She loves me all that she can, And her ways to my ways resign; But she was not made for any man, And she never will be all mine. This work was commissioned and recorded remotely by Choir Matrix Women's Ensemble in March 2021, sponsored by Consonare Choral Community who holds all rights to this recording. Recorded live on Friday, December 21, 2012, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Performed by the Concert Choir Ensemble of the Girl Choir of South Florida. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese, Oboe: Lisa Gelfand. There is no rose of such virtue As is the rose that bare Jesu; Alleluia. For in this rose contained was Heaven and earth in little space; Res miranda. By that rose we may well see That he is God in persons three, Pari forma. The angels sungen the shepherds to: Gloria in excelsis deo: Gaudeamus. Leave we all this worldly mirth, And follow we this joyful birth; Transeamus. Alleluia, res miranda, Pares forma, gaudeamus, Transeamus.  less
