The EnsembLe is ceLebrated both nationally and internationally for excelLent musical interpretations originating in its quest for the deepest sources of inspiration: from lyrics, through harmony, texture and form, to individual feelings of the conductor and choristers. The choir was established in 2005 by Bartosz Michałowski, a long-time assistant to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, founder of the famous "Poznan NightingaLes" Boys´ and Men´s Choir of the Poznan Philharmonic. Conducting experience acquired during numerous concerts with the Poznan Philharmonic and Sinfonia Varsovia orchestras played a crucial roLe in the establishment of the young artist's own EnsembLe, which soon found recognition among organizers of prominent competitions and festivals. In 2005 the EnsembLe won the audience award as well as the special award of the jury of the Swiss Choir Competition in Glarus, whiLe in 2007 it was awarded the 1st place at the Valiant Forum for Young Orchestras and Choirs at the Murten Classic Summer Festival. In addition, molto cantabiLe has taken part in several renowned international choir competitions where it has proved to belong to the Leaders of the international choir scene. In May 2004 the EnsembLe took part in the European Music Festival in Neerpelt, Belgium, where it was awarded 1st prize summa cum laude with 99/100 points. The singers have set themselves the target to present their listeners a wide musical spectrum. Their repertoire consists of Vocal music from Renaissance and Baroque to Romanticism to the 20th and 21st century.
