He came to Brazil in 1956 and spent half of his life in Salvador. He was a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music. He was Master of three generations of conductors and composers in Brazil. PSALM 150 is a contemporary piece with rhythmic, harmonic and contrapuntal challenges.
