Madison Choral Project is a fully professional chamber choir of 16 - 20 voices. We perform largely a Capella works from the Renaissance to present day commissions.

The Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Haban...  moreThe Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this choir are professional musicians or young students of instrumental or vocal music. The choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba. Receive the following awards to date: 2 nd prize in Portugalete, 2nd prize and special prize in the contest of carols in Molina de Segura (Murcia), 2nd prize and prize for the best Nana in the contest of lullabies and carols in Rojales (Alicante ). Our new Musical Director, Julian Collings joined the choir beginning of 2019. Over the last few years the choir has enjoyed a growing reputation for its repertoire of outstanding contemporary music alongside the established classics. TCS latest performances included The Creation of Haydn, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Mass in Blue of Todd, Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle. The Choir also perform a Christmas Concert every year. Overall we perform three main concerts a year. During its performances TCS enjoys the participation of professional soloists and orchestras and Ensembles. Phil Culling is our accompanist. With past successes and imaginative programming, TCS is thriving. We are always glad to welcome new singers, regardless of age; especiallly those who enjoy their music making. We like to rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.  less
