The choir’s extensive repertoire covers all periods of vocal music and the 20th. century, among them choral works composed by R.R. Klein, A. Koerppen, F. Farcas and many others more. Some of the works have been specially composed for HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen. At the same time the choir dedicates itself to oratorioes usually performed together with the female choir “Dzintars” Riga / Latvia. Numerous concert tours and participations in international festivals took the HARMONIE to Austria, the Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Macedonia, Russia, USA and Wales. In Wales the choir won first prize in the male choir category at the International “Eisteddfod” Llangollen in 1995 and 2007(second prize in 2003). The choir was founded in 1982 by José Firmino, actually is led by conductor and composer Paulo Bernardino (1973). The choir participates each year in about two dozens of concerts, in Portugal and abroad.

Directed and trained by singing teacher and choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all Singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it. GGCC generally performs at least two concerts per year, a Winter/Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert.
