The Naama Women's Choir is also often invited to appear at festivals and competitions abroad, and has been placed highly at these international competitions. • In 1996, awarded a Golden Diploma in the Felix Mendelssohn International Competition in Dautphetal, Germany. In this time the Choir has participated in the Madrid Community Choir contest, obtaining the first prize in 2009 and 2010, and the secón prize in 2007 and 2008 Within the Choir activities, we could also mention their participation in theatre productions of the Musicals Persephone and Midas by Steve Pogson, with which they obtained the first prize in the Vademorillo theatre contest. They were also awarded first prize in the Community of Madrid theatre contest, with the Musical Super Jim, a play which was written specially for the Choir by the British authors Steve Pogson and George Simmers. The Choir continues the...  moreAkademski pevski zbor Tone Tomšič University of Ljubljana unites students from all departments of the University of Ljubljana, which share a great love of singing and an unceasing wish to perform at the highest artistic level. The Choir continues the tradition of the Akademski pevski zbor v Ljubljani (Academic Choir of the University of Ljubljana) founded in 1926 by France Marolt, which consisted of male singers only. In the years between 1938 and 1940 Marolt also conducted the Female Academic Choir. After the cultural silence held during the Second World War, the Choir recommenced its activity, this time as a Mixed Choir under a new name, Akademski pevski zbor Tone Tomšič. The Choir has always been led by recognized conductors such as: France Marolt, Radovan Gobec, Janez Bole, Lojze Lebič, Igor Lavrič, Marko Munih, Jože Fürst, Jernej Habjanič and Stojan Kuret. It's a lot of fun! We welcome all levels of singers ages 12 thru senior in high school and there is no audition required. We are part of the School of Rock program and this is a paid program. E’ con questa convinzione che nel 1995 nasce il Soul Singers Gospel Choir e nel tempo, Candy Patricia Cauilan, già cantante del coro universitario “Philippine Madrigal Singers”, tra i più rinomati e premiati complessi di Musica polifonica nel panorama internazionale nonchè cuore, mente e direttrice dal gesto essenziale e dal gusto interpretativo adeguato, crea una formazione che ad oggi conta circa 30 elementi. Ad essa va aggiunta una formazione strumentale che riesce ad esaltare tutta la carica prorompente della Musica Gospel. Il repertorio è stato, via via perfezionato affinando in particolare la vocalità con freschezza e dinamicità Musicale.
